Digital BW, The Print

A few days ago someone on this forum recommended an article (or was 
it a book?) on digital B&W printing (scanning too?).  I meant to save 
the email it was contained on but trashed it by accident.  I think 
the person stated that there were illustrations with photos by Paul 
Roark (if this helps to remind anyone). If anyone knows, please send 
me the exact refernence-- I would appreciate it.
