Not a surprise... The Plaintiff has a lot more $$ here and can show a 
likelihood of irreparable harm, assuming the infringing activity 
continues, and it is found to be a factual infringement.


As for whether these last ditch efforts to protect their consumable 
monopoly by using DMCA will work, I find it unlikely on at least two counts:


1)     In the US, the DMCA is VERY likely to be revised.. Even many 
REPUBLICAN lawmakers see it as too restrictive and limiting a true free 
market...

2)    In the EU, the DMCA has so far been disfavored by courts on 
commonsense and other grounds..
