I spoke with John at Colorbyte re: Settings for Grayscale prints with IP5. He acknowledges that they have gooten behind in updating the documentation. But,it's coming, as Jerry Pournelle used to say in his Byte magazine column, "Real Soon Now." 1. Grayscle printing is done with profiles with "gray" in the name. 2. Ink settings in the print - setup go like this: KCMYcm Pigment = Color prints with Photo Black ink KMCMYcm Pigment = Color prints with Matte black ink K pigment = Photo Black ink only (BIO) K matte pigment = Matte Black ink only (MBIO) Gray pigment = Grayscale prints with Photo black ink (minus the yellow if I remember what Andrew said a while ago) Gray matte pigment = Grascale prints with Matte black ink (also minus yellow) More as I figure it out Stan Shire Associate Professor/Department Chair Photographic Imaging Community College of Philadelphia Adobe Photoshop 6 A.C.E.
