On the two prints I did where the 2880 dpi looked "marginally better" I used an older 1440 print using an older version of the driver to compare it to. This, or the fact that each image was only around 4 x 5 inch may be fooling me. In a way it is some relief, as print time more than doubles. On the 1440 x 1440 or 1440x 720 question (and 2880 etc), they reason I ask is partly curioisty, and partly to know what settings to dial into Nik Sharpener. Jim H.
