Susan, What scanner are you using? SprintScan 4000? SprintScan 120? What is the new scanning software are you using? Polacolor Insight? Silverfast? I can offer only general advice since I am not on a Mac but my experience with scanner software upgrades is that it is best to uninstall the old version before installing the new version. So if you haven't already, you might want to uninstall all the versions related to the scanner and do a clean install of the new version or perhaps the old version that was working. If the computer cannot find the scanner then perhaps the device driver or plug-in for the scanner is not correctly installed. You can also try the Digital Silver list: http://www.topica.com/lists/DigitalSilver/read and the PiezoBW list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/piezography3000 Maybe you can catch someone more knowledgable. You still have 2 1/2 days. Stay calm. Good luck! Martin --- In DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint@y..., smlphoto@e... wrote: > WHY THIS IS URGENT...
