Digital BW, The Print

OK..I have gotten myself TOTALLY confused. I had made my mind up on a 
canon S900 printer but I am unable to find one anywhere.. Does any 
one have any ideas where I could find one??? IF I can't, What would 
be a comparable printer???  I have been reading your comments on the 
Epson?? Which one would be comparable to the S900???I have to go with 
a low cost one(darn) I am a graphite pencil artist  (www.marti-nelson-
studio.com)and I would like to print my own notecards etc.I will 
leave the larger printing needs to a professional.I can't afford That 
large of a printer..lol.I also do color printing but I am  needing 
Good Blk & Wht ..The best of both worlds at a low price..I know I 
WANT IT ALL!!!!  LOL>.Seriously.I am getting more and more confused 
the more I research...and do the sales people at the stores REALLY 
know what they are talking about???? I THINK NOT!!!  Any help would 
be GREATLY appreciated.
