What coating does is free you from glazing. The print is luminous and rich without the glazing...and what's better is when someone sneezes on it...you wipe it off...when the gallery owner eats subway that day and then picks up your portfolio...wipe it off. Personally I just love handling print. I want them in my hand...not just on the wall. That's why you coat. Robert
