I've been printing on all sorts of oddball papers with my 2200 so I want to create some profiles just for them to create neutral B+W prints. The printer driver color controls don't give me enough control because on some papers it's too magenta at some densities and too green at others so I can't just raise or lower the magenta values (say) across the board. What's a good, cheap tool for creating custom profiles? N.B. that I am ***NOT*** trying to do color matching across devices, i.e., I'm not trying to match my scanner to my monitor to my printer, etc! All I want to do is create profiles for specific papers so that a grayscale image is neutral at dark gray, medium gray, light gray, etc. Thanks in advance!
