Digital BW, The Print

The current issue of Camera Arts contains an article where the author 
claims he got results comparable to quadtones when using Epson's new 
RIP.  I've called epson several times and no one there is able to 
comments on how the new RIP's grayscale output is different or better 
than with the stadard epson driver.  Just curious if anyone has had a 
chance to compare it to prints with the standard driver or, 
especially how it compares to ImagePrint 5 output.
