Howard, I will add your tip to the text file I created from Paul's message. I also noticed in trying your suggestion that with the curve dialog box open, as you hold down the mouse button and move the cursor across the image a circle appears on the curve indicating where on the curve that particular point would fall. The input and output values are also displayed.
