[Digital BW] Re: Resolution test for printers

2003-02-17 by Dan Culbertson <danculb@bellsouth.net>

Hi Martin,
Feel free to put the resolution test file, the patches and whatever
else you'd like from my site into the Files section or elsewhere
as you see fit. I'm happy that someone might want to use the
info. However, some of the step-by-step instructions that
mention Photoshop are written for older PS versions and might
need to be translated for Photoshop 7 by anyone using them. I
haven't updated much on that site for a long long time! :-(

In fact the oldest thing on my site discusses how to make a
quadtone file with Stylus RIP, Sommerset Velvet, and MIS gray
inks (rather than with the "Icefields" software they were originally
developed for). I think that is probably the first "quadtone
workflow" ever posted so it may have interest to those with
historical inclinations - but probably no functional value. Time
sure flies :-)

Dan
