The expression "canvas paper" is somewhat like "banana uranium" (which, come to think of it, would be a great name for a band). Amyway, in answer to your question, I print on ACTUAL gesso'ed canvas using my Epson 2200. Regular artist's canvas, plain old off-the- shelf Liquitex acrylic gesso. Works great, no problems.
