I just took a look at a few of these pictures, and they are certainly no sharper than my D60. In fact even though it's only a monitor image, my D60 images look sharper, even on the monitor. I think the canon samples could have been prepared better for monitor viewing. There is NO digital noise on the D60 at ISO 100.
