I use AFAIK the only UV light sterilizer humidifier- Slant/Fin makes 
two of them. I've seen the smaller one at Bed Bath and Beyond. I 
overrode the humidstat with elctronic surgery to add a remote  
electronic sensor, and it is very accurate now as well as being "germ 
free". It's supposed to kill off spores between the heating element 
and the UV light.
