BTW are you familiar with Comp USA's TAP(Technology Assurance program) It adds $60 to the price of the printer, but for two years you can take it back for any reason or no reason-I'm on my third 1280, which I switched to from my ALPS MD5000- they gave me a full refund when they couldn't service it! So now I'm thinking about those nice interchaneable heads on the Canon printers.... SteveK
