For me it did work well. True they are a bit slow in everything.
At the time of my first contact (3 years ago) with Hahnemuhle
there was still a Dutch subsidiary and I could buy directly
there. For a year now that has changed and I can either get it
directly from Germany or from a dealer in Amsterdam. The last is:

It depends on the quantity where I buy.

There's an art supply dealer in Paris (and Deventer, the
Netherlands) called Joop Stoop. He also owns part of a digital
art printshop in Paris and has to order German Etching rolls for
that shop regulary. There's nothing of inkjet in his catalogue so
you have to ask him directly.
