Digital BW, The Print

I'm getting slight rolls on the paper after printing.  The printer is 
laying down too much ink.  How do I prevent this?  I'm using a 1280 
with MIS VM ink and Roark curves on a PC.  Would a different paper 
setting help?  Right now I'm using EAM with the appropriate paper 
setting per the curve.
