Digital BW, The Print

Hi all,

I've been printing pretty successfully using MIS-VM inks with a 1280 on a
Mac, Paul's curves as specified, EEM. System 9.x Photoshop 6. (The cooler
the curve the "grainier" the midtones appear, but that's another story.)

I just tried printing everything the same way except via PS7. Results are
lousy. It's like my tonal curve developed a large flat spot from about zone
iii to zone vi. Mush.

Is it just me, or is this difference apparent to anyone else?
