Chris, I had the exact same problem. It appeared in my case to be a case of the cartridges not holding a vacuum, and a bad pump. I got another set of carts, and used an old model vacuum pump, and everything was fine. I didn't use eboni ink again, I went back to my old favorite, Enhanced Gen 4.
