After multiple head cleanings and finally a Matte Black cart change the banding seems to have disappeared. I believe the OPM dependence on black ink simply pushed my cart to its limit. Antonis and other IJC pioneers: I am looking forward to a little magenta in that cool profile. Please let me know when the new cool is available. And thanks again for the generosity of your efforts. I spent the day comparing OPM with IP RIP on my 2200 and have found them to be very close. I like the color of OPM blended 80/20 warm/cool better than anything I can come up with on ImagePrint, but IP has a smoothness in the flesh tones that OPM can't match. At least not without my using the IJC. With Piezo on my 1160 added to the comparison, that quad technology is still the one to beat for b/w. With the new Cone Epson driven inks in mind, I think I'll wait for the 2200 quads before buying the IJC. Frank http://www.culturalvisions.com http://www.photoeye.com/frankward/
