The photography side, I've got down pretty good. I've been doing large format work for years and my darkroom is pretty loaded. One thing I don't intend to do is do stupid stuff with Photoshop. I'm more of a purist in that sense and don't go for the fakery side. I'm hoping to use Photoshop for the same things I do in the darkroom now (burning, dodging, cropping, toning, and maybe a little blemish removal). I don't like to waste money, but time is okay. Making a few mistakes in technique helps me learn. The equipment side of things is what I'm looking at intently (to keep from wasting that money).
