Digital BW, The Print

Hello,

I just bought an HP S20xi film scanner and want to use it to produce 
black and white prints. I am thinking to buy the Epson Stylus Photo 1280 
printer, but wonder if I would ever be able to get good quality prints 
larger that 8x10in with the resolution the scanner provides (2400 dpi). 
 Is the Epson Stylus Photo 890, which can produce 8x10 prints with the 
same quality and is less expensive, a better choice?
