Sorry, if this has been beaten to dead already. But I have asked this on several other groups, and havn´t got an answer which solved my problem so far. I´m on a Mac G4 with 1.5 Gig RAM and a lot of hard disk space. I´m running several Epson printers from 1160 up to 7500 under OS 9.2 without problem. I dedicated a 10 gig partition as a spool disk for all my Epson drivers, and since then never had any spooldisk overflow - even if I print multylayer files in PS with hundreds of megabites. Now, if I want to print the same files under OS X my printers become awfully s l o w. I suppose this is caused by a kind of memory- or spooldisk overflow. I have been looking for a configuration option to dedicate mor RAM or a specific spool disk to the epson drivers, but didn´t find any. Is this a common problem or am I missing something? Help is very appreciated. TIA Bernd .
