I neglected to mention I was printing via InDesign 2.0 My home system in a Win98se-ID2.0. I had used "my computer"/printers/properties...to set what I wanted as new defaults [1440, HWMp, NCA, microweave On, high speed Off...this works for PS7). I then went into InDesign 2.0 and set up a printer style since I'm switching back-and-forth between my a color printer and a B&W printer. The SNAFU is that InDesign wasn't accessing the new 'defaults' I set in the above manner while employing the printer styles. Instead it was taking the usual defaults of "automatic/plain paper, etc." This was making the print outs, deceivingly, look like banding or a clogged head, on the print. Went through a number of different cleaning attempts and a certain amount of paper/time before figuring it out. FYI, Cleavis > > > Today I got clogging in both machines at the same time. Not paper specific, nor setting specific. So I pulled the cartridges out of the 1280 to see what could be seen.
