Digital BW, The Print

Hi,

I just wrote a letter but I think some gremling devoured it in my 
computer. If it actually got sent, I apologize for this retry.

I'm on a mac, do have sys. 9 installed but would like to stay in OSX if 
possible. As the information on OSX in the documentation and on Epsons 
website is vague or nonexistant I have some questions.

My first question is - does this printer work on firewire? I only see 
references to a USB driver.

As the installer on the cd-rom went into classic I guess that it is not 
OSX compatible. So I installed it into sys. 9.

Then I downloaded the latest OSX program from Epsons site and installed 
that in OSX. As no Install-log was produced, I don't really know what 
it installed. The Epson Printer Utility is there however.

Are the other utilities OSX compatible? I guess the only really 
interesting is the Grey Balancer.

As OPM doesn't work for the 2100 is my best bet QuadToneRip?
