Tom, You can get very nice 2200 B&W prints without metamerism right now using IJC/OPM. If you are using a Mac, download the free OPM print driver (http://www.bowhaus.com/inkjetcontrol/) and then try the sample profiles in the Files section of the list or from my filesharing site (http://homepage.mac.com/scho/FileSharing2.html).
