Digital BW, The Print

I've been scanning with the Epson 2450 and printing on the 1160 and 
the MIS-VM inkset with very pleasing results.  I'm thinking of 
printing 17x22 and using the Cone Selenium set for these larger 
prints.  I primarily shoot 645. The new print size would be as large 
as 15.75x21.  Will the scanner give me enough data to get the most 
out of the printer with the Cone driver?  Does anybody use this 
pairing?  ... with what results?  Oh, and has anyone heard of using 
a CIS with the 3000?  A link from Mediastreet put me in touch with a 
source of these.
