If a new lens mount is introduced, then you can re-examine your brand loyalty then! However I don't think either Canon or Nikon will go that way for a while. The advantage of being able to cater for existing customers is just too strong. Olympus OTOH haven't got an AF exchangeable lens film SLR range since their attempt bombed in the 80s, so they can feel free to go their own way with 4/3rds.
