Digital BW, The Print

For the past many months, due to someone's comments that
MediaStreet Generations Enhanced G4 K ink had a higher 
density rating than the MIS FS K ink, I started using the 
G4K with the MIS FS greys in my 2000P without any problems.

When I called both TheStockSolution and MediaSteet today, 
they each told  me 'Don't Do It'  as the pH differences 
in the two ink types would cause problems. 

I wish to transition from the currently installed Cone inks
on my 'new' Epson 3000 to MIS, and just this morning filled
a cart set with MIS FS C,M,Y and G4 K, but now am hesitant
to install it... ??? 

Where does all the ink go during an Epson 3000 cleaning
cycle ? Can the reservoir be emptied ?

Has anyone created a quad set of MediaStreet K ink ?

Oh, This Epson 3000 prints quite nicely, thank you Michael !
I hope to do a full 16x20 tonite and will give a better report.
( if I don't run out of Ink ! )
