Alex, >...I started using the >G4K with the MIS FS greys in my 2000P without any problems. >When I called both TheStockSolution and MediaSteet today, >they each told me 'Don't Do It' as the pH differences >in the two ink types would cause problems. I really doubt that this is true. Olson used MS Enhanced K with MIS pigs for years without trouble. I've never detected or heard of any problem with the 2. They are both predominantly pigment and Epson compatible. >Has anyone created a quad set of MediaStreet K ink ? It would not make sense to do that. The MS enhanced K is 25% dye to make it darker. The midtones would dilute that dye, and fade and warm very fast. Midtones are very easy to make from 100% pigment ink, and 100% pigment is the only way to get a state-of-the-art, very lightfast, and non-warming (almost) quad. The PiezoTones and MIS Ultra Tone B&W inksets are 100% pigment. Paul http://www.PaulRoark.com
