Wildlife photography doesn't usually interest me a great deal, but what you are doing is outstanding. A very distinct style. I especially enjoyed 'Hippos River' and 'Elephant Herd on the Plain' (That isn't the correct title--I forgot to write it down). Hi Jon Thanks so much for going and for the compliments. I missed you by five minutes - walking in just after you left! Interesting you like those two photos the most - both were infra-red. I love the way it makes the photos feel kind of like an African Midsummer Night's Dream. Also, I'm no fan of wildlife photography as we know it either - I find most of it completely artless. I'd like to think I'm doing something new with it, utterly arrogant though that sounds! > I had originally gone specifically to see the quality of the prints as I am going to jump on the IJC/OPM wagon with either a 2200 or the supposed successor to the 3000--but what a surprise to not only find nicely made prints but beautiful images too. Please try jumping on the IJC wagon. I'm thrilled with it. I'm not the msot technically savvy of photographers on the digital front - most guys on this forum are way more experienced than me - and I'm constantly learning how to make my prints better - but I do know that with OPM/IJC I'm finally getting prints that I like. > I would recommend to anyone on the list to make the effort to see the showing--it is more than worth it. > > Jon > Thanks again Jon. Yes, anyone in NY before August 30, please check it out. Nick
