Digital BW, The Print

Hi All,

hope you are well. I'm wanting to take my printing to the next level 
and have more control in what I do. I've come to the opinion that 
I'll have to "bite the bullit" and get a second hand densitometer.

Can any body offer advice! Whats the minimum spec I need... there 
seems to be so much choice on eBay. There's even one that says its a 
dedicated B&W machine but the vendor does not know if its suitable 
for inkjet!!!

I'd hate to make the wrong decision so any advice from those who 
have been before would be greatly appreciated.
