I have tried the vm27 nc6 curve (near cool) at a color setting of mag. minus 5 with an Epson 870 printer & MIs Quadtone inks on Epson enhance matte paper. And I have been getting B&W prints that, except for the Dmax, have about the same b&w tones as my favorite lustre paper. I will have to try a spray to increase the Dmax. I just want to say thanks to Paul Roark for all his work on the curves. Also, Clayton, thanks for your web site on B.O. printing, I am able to get prints that I also like very much. I am still using cartiridges, and will continue to do so, until I can invest in a printer that I can make 11 by 14 prints. I switch between both methods, depending on subject matter of the print. Again, thanks to both of you. Martin
