They are horizontal when printing in landscape format and obviously come from a part of the printer that slightly scratches the surface of the paper. Not enough of really damaging the surface, but scratching a part of the ink away. Not strongly visible from more than 1 meter or so, but not beautiful. It appears more clearly on semigloss paper, but not on Epson achival matte. I haven't yet figured out what part it actually is, but could be one of the small rolls, as its actually 2 lines in a distance of about 4-5mm. Is there a source of information how to adjust or would it be better to bring it in for service? Anyway it would not be the worst thing to do, as I am running my workhorse 1160 since 2y now without ever bringing it to a service. Regards and thanks for answers in advance, Bernhard
