Digital BW, The Print

Hi all

Does anyone have a view as to whether this scanner (I believe introduced in Feb 2001) 
will be updated in the near future?  I am thinking about getting a dedicated film 
scanner and need something that can handle 120 film.  Given the hyper leap in cost 
(vs a 35mm scanner) I am very nervous that if I buy this scanner now I will find myself 
one of last purchasers of an old model....
