An option, if you want to go the expensive route, is
to use the piezography driver with the MIS Full
Spectrum inks - no visible dots but depending on your
specific printer you may have banding troubles
(unfortunately you never know if you will get the
banding until you try it).  This would give you the
warmth you are suggesting, in addition to the scale of
the platinum images.
