While I still shoot film and find it far superior to digital capture for BW work in all but a few narrow applications, I certainly can't see a case being made for maintaining a pure wet darkroom at this point. That said, many of his comments about starting with a well thought out and conceived negative are certainly still true regardless of the final workflow.
