Digital BW, The Print

I have installed the Rip as per instuctions on my OsX system and installed the 
Quadtone 2200 printer. The problem is that my "normal" 2200 printers fail to print. 
The print center shows the 2200 as "Stopped" If I restart it after a few seconds or 
showing "running" the printer shows as Stopped again. The printer does not do 
anything. 
I am new to Mac and I would appreciate any help. I have downloaded the latest epson 
drivers and installed them as per instructions. I assume that I should try to re-install 
them, but I do not know how to do this. 
As I wrote earlier, it prints ok as a Quadtone 2200!
