Re: [Digital BW] Quadtone Rip Dummies guide?

Barry,

There is a read-me file in the 2200 profiles folder that describes how
to install the profiles and the printing workflow. Here is an excerpt
from the read-me:
Installing the Profiles:

If your QuadToneRIP printer is NOT named "QUAD2200" you must edit the
profile descriptor files to change the printer name to whatever name
you have used to identify your printer before installing them with the
Run-Quad-Profile script. The line to edit is highlighted in red below:
-------------------------------------------------
#
#  quadtone curve descriptor file
#
#
# the printer name
# the curve name
# no spaces or special characters, except - or _ (dash or underscore)
#
PRINTER=QUAD2200
CURVE_NAME=BES_2200-warm
CALIBRATION=NO
GRAPH_CURVE=YES
-------------------------------------------------------------
After changing the printer name, if necessary, in each profile
descriptor file simply drag and drop each of the profile descriptor
files you wish to use on the Run-Quad-Profile script to install (Double
click the script file and then drag and drop the profile descriptor
file when asked). The profiles will be installed and should appear in
the CurveDropBox folder.
