Could be that the head is too low or there's ink from the head
that offsets to the clamping rolls of the paper transport. The
last is usually a result of filth/paper lint gathering on top of
the head. I've no 7600 but some 9000's and have seen similar
problems from time to time. Can't give you any guide how to solve
it but the printer is new so Epson will do service on it anyway.
