Digital BW, The Print

Hallo,
its a bit offtopic here, but I sometimes get a bit tired of doing 
exclusively b&w I want to get a second printer for color work. Will 
the 2200 give visibly better results than the 1290? I'd also think of 
trying archival colour inks with a CFS - Has anyone had experiences 
with that?

What about the cost per page with OEM inks? I guess the 2200 is more 
expensive then, isn't it?
