I just had a meeting with one of my web-clients who is a distributor for Epson products. They could confirm that a new wide-format desktop printer is on the way. It will have 8 inks to contain Matte and Photo black simultaneously. Price is rumored to be around $2000-2500. They also mentioned that Epson would release some new type of ink.
