Digital BW, The Print

I just upgraded from Photoshop 6 to Photoshop 7.   For Black & White I use
an Epson 860 with Lyson Quad Blacks.   I convert files to RGB and set the
last printer control screen to "printer control management" rather then
"same color space".    Though what I see on the preview print screen is
darker then what I see in Photoshop, it gives me a good result and very
close to what I see on the screen.   Photoshop 7 no longer offers "printer
control management" or at least I can't find it.   Can anyone help who is
using a similiar setup or is familair with photoshop?

Note: When printing color to my Epson 870 I did not use printer control
management but get good results with printing in the same color space.
