Digital BW, The Print

I'm looking for a film scanner to handle 6x9 Delta 3200 negs.  
From what I've read, the Nikon 8000 has a shallow depth of field 
and the glass neg carrier would most likely be needed.  Does 
anyone use the Microtek ArtixScan 120tf, which looks an aweful 
lot like the Polaroid scanner?  It's $500 cheaper and a glass 
carrier is available.  I use either VueScan or SilverFast to do my 
scanning so I'm not concerned about the software package.
