I think that Calc-Density is only necessary to calculate the density from the xyz values captured by the I1. If you have a densitometer you just have to measure the densities of all steps and enter these values into the curve file (e.g. LINEARIZE="0.036 0.137 0.260 0.382 0.505 0.616 0.744 0.858 0.963 1.054 1.133 1.213 1.287 1.357 1.418 1.467 1.519 1.559 1.587 1.627 1.666 ").
