Thanks for the input... thought about it for a while and decided it was probably lack of air in the carts, pumped some in the bottom, recirculated the ink and got to start printing at about midnight (why am I always working at the ragged edge?). mark PS I am fairly leary of the whole Windex thing since my friend's 1280 totally crapped out after feeding it through the heads...
