Digital BW, The Print

Hi there

A brief question for my first posting.  I have an Epson Stylus Photo 900 
and I'd like to make some high quality B+W prints on it.  I found the MIS 
site, which doesn't directly support it.  However, the T009 cartridge that 
the 900 uses is the same as that for the 1270 and 1280, which MIS does make 
(http://www.inksupply.com/index.cfm?source=html/quadcart.html#1270).  Is it 
a simple as using that cartridge int he printer and all will be fine?

As another option, if I get an empty cartridge (ARC-T009-EC ) and one of 
the 6-tone hextone ink set refills, can I simply make my own?  Or is there 
more to it than that?

Or are there high quality B+W cartridges for the 900 out there somewhere?
