My 900 died almost two years ago, but I still miss it. My impression 
is that it's more like the 1160 than like the 1280 and 1290, but I'm 
not sure what the implications of that would be for the drivers.

My remembrance is that the the 980 was (is?) supported for the 
original Piezography inkset, and the 980 was, I believe, the direct 
descendant of the 900 - basically just faster. But I never heard 
anyone say that the Piezo' driver for the 980 could be made to work 
for the 900.

Mike might want to consider trying black-only B&W printing on his 
900, but I haven't any cartridge suggestions for him.
