if you don't want to spend a lot of time and money on third party inks, workflows, RIPs, etc I would highly recommend the new hp 7960. it has some flaws, but in terms of out-of-the-box b&w printing it can't be beat in my humble opinion. of course it won't take anything over 8.5 x 14... my $.02 boris [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
