Digital BW, The Print

I'm in the market for a medium format scanner, and just got a flyer from 
Calumet selling out this medium format scanner for $499.99, from original 
price of 2000.
I'd just be useing this scanner for med format film, as I'm happy with my nikon 
4000 coolscan.
Are people using this scanner happy with it, it seems like a great price.  I'm not 
looking to compare this with a 3000.00 scanner, but at 500.00 how does it do.
TIA for comments from users.
I would be scanning both b&w & transparency film with this.
